Trained at the East 15 School of Acting in London, and has worked professionally as an actor since 1990 in both England and America. Ravi is best know for his series regular role as Mahesh "Bug” Murthy on NBC's Crossing Jordan, which lasted six seasons.
Ravi attended the 2010 Chicago South Asian Film Festival for the film Raspberry Magic and his directorial venture, the short film Victor Ramirez Asesino.
